Located in the historic Dayton Lane neighborhood of Hamilton, Ohio, The Benninghofen House was built by Christian and Anna Benninghofen in 1892. This stunning home features intricate woodwork, beautiful fireplaces with Hamilton and Rookwood tile, and amazing stained glass windows. It also boasts Lincrusta wall coverings, a grand front porch, and a lush backyard oasis with a tree fort, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven.
Over the years, the Benninghofen House has had a variety of owners, but in 2015 it was purchased by Michael and Bekki Rennick. They have transformed the home into a boutique hotel with an event space and 4 short-term rental spaces. In addition to hosting tiny weddings and intimate events, they also host a monthly Ladies Night In, weekend retreats, yoga classes and offer therapeutic massage.
The Benninghofen House is conveniently located close to Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill and is within walking distance to all the fun in downtown Hamilton. It is also centrally located on the Butler County Donut Trail. We love hosting parents and families of Miami University Students, so book a stay with us and come explore Hamilton!
